Ever since the beginning of time, God has desired to create for Himself a family that is in a loving relationship with Him and other people. We believe that the message of the Bible is His rescue mission to save us from a life eternally separated from Him and being adopted into His eternal family. At Glenfair Family Church our number one value is living life in community as God's family.
Because we believe that God desires for as many people as possible to become part of His family, our vision is to see or friends, family, neighbors, coworkers and fellow citizens restored to the heart of God. We accomplish this by demonstrating God's love through our generosity and good deeds.
We believe in being generationally-diverse and authentic in our worship as a church Family. We gather on Sundays at 11am. When you worship with us you'll notice a blend of music styles from classic hymns to contemporary praise songs. While have a wonderful children's ministry available for children birth through 5th grade, we love having our middle and high school students participate with us in the Sunday morning service. If you're concerned about what to wear, you find our Lead Pastor comfortable in jeans and an open collar shirt.
We believe that life is best lived in community with other followers of Jesus Christ. We encourage people to join a Life Group on Sunday mornings at 10am or on Wednesday nights at 6:30pm. These groups meet for 6-8 weeks and cover a wide variety of topics intended to help you live faithfully. We also offer various other groups and events to help people connect in community. Please see the Welcome Center in the lobby for more information about current groups and events.
At Glenfair we believe that children are just as much a part of God's family as any adult is. We offer a fun and faith-building children's program on Sunday mornings during the 11am service and on Wednesday nights at 6:30pm. We also have a Life Group for middle school students on Wednesday nights at 6:30pm as well.
We are located at 50 NE 143rd Ave in NE Portland. You'll find our church building on the corner of 143rd and Burnside.
